Outdoor Science Education jobs, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) (multiple locations)

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is seeking applications for our Outdoor Science Education jobs! Positions are available at either the Coastal Discovery Center at Camp Gray (in Newport, Oregon) or at Hancock Field Station (near Fossil, Oregon) and  include:

• Outdoor Science Instructors are a passionate team of educators and learners committed to providing transformative concept-based outdoor science education experiences. Using our curricula, instructors plan and lead lessons that are student-centered and place-based for all ages with the great outdoors as their classroom! Position runs February 2023 through October 2023.
• Camp Cooks are essential community members of passionate educators and learners. They provide more than just food, they offer thoughtful menus, comfort, and nourishment for all. The Camp Cook helps to plan menus, and cooks for the programs at the Coastal Discovery Center and Hancock Field Station. Position runs February 2023 through October 2023.
• Camp Counselors are a passionate team of mentors and youth leaders committed to providing transformative overnight summer camp experiences. Counselors are in charge of small groups of campers in cabins. Position runs June 2023 through August 2023.
