Columbia Springs Education Volunteer Opportunity. Voluneers assist and facilitate field trips, lead small groups during outdoor activities, and provide support to the educator. Each school year, Columbia Springs brings over 7,000 elementary students to their 100-acre site for outdoor field trips. Students spend time in nature and learn the basics of ecology, water quality, the salmon life cycle, and environmental science. Volunteers will gain skills and experience in environmental education and help support local youth. Columbia Springs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental education center and 100-acre public natural area located in Vancouver, Washington.
