EE Capacity (formerly EETAP)eecapacity

EE Capacity (formerly the Environmental Education Training Assistance Program) is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Environmental Education. Originally EETAP was a cooperative agreement with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, which developed and continues to offer high quality online professional development opportunities. Now EETAP is a cooperative agreement with Cornell University and is now known as Expanding Capacity in Environmental Education or EE Capacity.

EE Capacity has a wealth of resources, fellowships and trainings, especially tied to climate change. EEAO and EE Capacity held a state consortia in Portland, OR to build our capacity.

NEEFneef

The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) supports and strengthens environmental education to engage Americans in caring for their natural environment.

NEEF believes people will make wise environmental choices and take personal responsibility for the environment when provided practical, relevant information from trusted sources. NEEF's strategy is to provide environmental education and training to those credible leaders whose occupations routinely give them opportunities to explain environmental connections to our daily lives.

NEEF offers grants, trainings, and resources, especially around health and environment.

Gray Family Foundationgray family foundation

The Gray Family Foundation (GFF) is an Oregon funding organization that continues the life’s work of John and Betty Gray by creating a permanent organization based on faith in the human spirit and a vision of Oregon as a vibrant and civic-minded society. They work to further the No Oregon Child Left Inside, Oregon's Environmenal Literacy Plan, and Outdoor School and much more. They have resources and funding opportunities for outdoor learning.

Children & Nature NetworkChildren and Nature Network

The Children & Nature Network (C&NN) was born from the book Last Child in the Woods. C&NN is a movement for an international children and nature that focuses on education, urban design, architecture, conservation, public health and many other disciplines. C&NN has tons a resources to help families and teachers to implement nature into their lives. You can also find research on the benefits of outdoor time and great tool kits for families.
