The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Education Division provides a wealth of programs - grants, trainings, resources, awards and more. Their mission is to ensure that environmental education, based on sound science and effective education practices, is used as a tool to promote and protect human health and the environment and to encourage student academic achievement.

The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) supports and strengthens environmental education to engage Americans in caring for their natural environment.

NEEF believes people will make wise environmental choices and take personal responsibility for the environment when provided practical, relevant information from trusted sources. NEEF's strategy is to provide environmental education and training to those credible leaders whose occupations routinely give them opportunities to explain environmental connections to our daily lives.

NEEF offers grants, trainings, and resources, especially around health and environment.
