This day is for
you! Join a network of K-12
teachers and environmental educators from around the nation in workshops, plenary sessions and educational
entertainment that demonstrate how they deliver quality environmental education
that teach people how to think, not what to think.
Registration
-There is a special $60.00 K-12 teacher
registration rate for Saturday October 10th. This
rate will be honored through October 1, 2009.
-The one-day teacher registration includes the
NAAEE Awards Luncheon, with keynote speaker Charles Jordan. A former director of
Portland's Bureau of Parks and Recreation whose forte was forging partnerships
and demonstrating "that we are more than just fun and games,"

Credit
Graduate or CEU credit is available through Portland State
University. Cost for one graduate credit is $75; cost for 1.5 CEUs (15 contact
hours, which would involve more than one conference day) is $20. For more

Scholarship
Application
Scholarships are available Oregon
K-12 teachers to attend the "Teacher Day" – Saturday, October 10th.
The registration will include an annual membership to the Environmental
Education Association of Oregon (EEAO). One
night of lodging and mileage reimbursement is available for those travelling
more than 50 miles RT.
-Scholarships are available to
Oregon K-12 classroom
teachers who teach at least half time
-Preference will be given to those who
demonstrate how this conference will be used or benefit them in their
teaching
-Successful applicants will receive notification within two weeks of
their application.
-When all spaces have been filled a
notification will be posted on the website. At that time any additional
applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
